Danson House is a stunning Grade I listed villa that overlooks the award-winning Danson Park. It was built by Sir John Boyd in the 1760s and was designed by Sir Robert Taylor. Fortunately in 1995 it was saved from falling into ruin when the English Heritage identified it as one of the buildings that were most at risk. So, in 2005 after it was restored it was open to the public again.
